Elevated in the dense forests bordering Oslo, Nordic Retreat is a masterclass in cozy minimalism. Designed to endure cold northern winters, the house features a steep pitched roof clad in local dark larch and slate, protecting a light-filled interior of warm birch and stone.

The home is organized in a series of interconnected cabin modules that separate the communal lounge, sleeping quarters, and a secluded wellness pavilion complete with an outdoor sauna. Triple-glazed windows capture the shifting Nordic light, framing the surrounding pines as living artwork.
