Architectural Integrity
The Glass Pavilion reimagines coastal living by dissolving all boundaries between interior comfort and the ocean horizon. Perched on a cliff edge in Malibu, the structure features a revolutionary post-tensioned canopy that rests on structural glass panels, offering unobstructed 360-degree views.
The pavilion utilizes solar-responsive dynamic glazing that adjusts its opacity based on direct sunlight, keeping the home naturally cooled. Internally, a seamless terrazzo floor flows from the master suite out to an infinity pool that merges with the Pacific Ocean.
